Steven P. Sutherland, R.G.
Steven P. Sutherland, R.G., is a Principal Geologist with more than 18 years of experience in the environmental, asbestos, and water resources fields. Mr. Sutherland is an Arizona Registered Geologist (R.G.). His management skills include: serving as client and regulatory agency liaison; project scoping and budgeting; management of budget and schedule during execution of work; completion of proposals; scheduling and coordination of field investigative activities; project evaluation and reporting; and selection, coordination, and implementation of remedial alternatives. As Principal Geologist, Mr. Sutherland is responsible for the coordination, direction and management of field operations for numerous hydrogeologic aquifer investigations, as well as Phase I, II and III investigations involving underground storage tank (UST) removal investigations, leaking UST (LUST) investigations, drywell A.P.P. permitting and closure investigations, large industrial facilities, and other various sites where contamination is present in soil and groundwater/surface water. He is additionally responsible for site safety, potable water and monitor well design and installation, well abandonment, various air, soil and groundwater sampling requirements, data analysis and interpretation, as well as report preparation and completion, and Principal review of other reports. He managed and conducted environmental assessments and property condition surveys (PCAs) associated with large portfolios for real estate transfers in the United States and Mexico.
